This is in comparison to an individual plan which is $9.99 and a student plan which costs $4.99 per month. The Premium Duo plan now allows two people living at the same address to have individual premium accounts at a lower post of $12.99 per month.

As of July 1, the plan is available in the United States as well as 54 other markets. Spotify has unveiled a cheaper subscription option for couples called Premium Duo.
